Annie Young Arts I once considered myself an artistic topographist, navigating the picture plane with my fingers,because I thought I had to. For years after I started to lose my eye sight, I didn't feel confident in my work unless my fingers stayed directly connected to the surface of the canvas. Now, I chose to challenge myself to paint using whatever modality the image directs me to. I enjoy the successes I have found in my experimentation. My body of work now speaks to an array of creative compositions, sensorial inspired collections and celebrations of color.
